Receita de Bolo Rei
Ingredientes:
30 gramas de fermento para pão
500 gramas de farinha de trigo
1 dl de leite
4 ovos
1 cálice conhaque
200 gramas de açucar
80 gramas de nozes e passas
150 gramas de frutas cristalizadas cortadas e maceradas em conhaque
frutas cristalizadas e nozes para enfeitar
2 gemas para pincelar o bolo
geleia de fruta e açucar em pó para corar
Preparação de Bolo Rei:
Num recipente coloque o leite ligeiramente morno e o fermento, adicione alguma farinha. Misture muito bem e deixe repousar durante 2 horas em local quente.
Noutro recipente coloque os ovos, o açúcar, a manteiga, 1 cálice pequeno de conhaque, o fermento e bata tudo. Pouco ao pouco enquanto amassa bem junte o resto da farinha, por 30 minutos. Pode, caso ache necessário, juntar um pouco de leite.
No final de amassado junte todas as frutas, nozes e passas. Cubra então e deixe levedar num local quente, se possível durante a noite.
Forme uma argola com a massa e coloque uma lata no centro para o bolo não fechar. Coloque num tabuleiro e enfeite o bolo com frutas cristalizadas. Deixe levedar durante mais 2 horas no tabuleiro.
Pincele então com as gemas batidas. Pré aqueça o forno, e leve então o bolo ao mesmo.
Depois de prontos e enquanto ainda estiverem quentes, pincele os bolos com geleia de fruta e polvilhe com açucar em pó.
